Introduction

Breathe Function Thrive PLLC is passionate about championing clinical excellence and precision medicine by local licensed professionals who have dedicated years of intense schooling and training, enhancing their clinical skills and the standard of care provided to each patient. We recognize and want to safeguard each student’s investment in their schooling, as well as our advanced training, and the tools and techniques they license from Breathe Function Thrive.

Healthcare is changing rapidly, and with the rise of social media, it seems anyone is sharing anything and everything online. We created this Ethics Policy to outline our boundaries and standards as a company offering clinical services and professional training. This policy protects and promotes the advanced skills and training of licensed professionals, applauds professional and ethical behavior, builds trust, and elevates the public’s confidence in the value of individualized assessment and treatment by local licensed professionals.

This Ethics Policy is based on standards generally agreed upon by the AMA, APTA, AOTA, ASHA and others. Breathe Function Thrive PLLC strives to follow this Ethics Policy and chooses to educate, elevate and work with those who also strive to align with these principles.

Confidentiality and Privacy: We work to protect personal information and manage identifiable patient information. Even with consent, we seek to avoid oversharing.
Professionalism & Respectful Communication: We strive to maintain professionalism in our interactions in-person, online and on social media and interact respectfully with patients, colleagues and other professionals.
Accuracy of Information: To the best of our ability, we work to ensure that the information we share is accurate.
Boundaries: We endeavor to maintain clear boundaries between personal and professional online identities.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: We are mindful in disclosing potential conflicts of interest including financial relationships, sponsorships, or endorsements, etc.
Promotion of the Profession: We seek to use in-person, online and social media platforms to engage in positive dialogue, educate the public, foster professional development, and encourage precision medicine with individualized assessment and treatment by licensed professionals in their state or local communities.
Scope of Practice: We believe professionals should work and engage in ways that are in harmony with their professional licensure, and as determined by their state, country, or licensing entity.
Legal Compliance: We intend to abide by all relevant laws and regulations including ethical conduct and honoring agreements, copyright, and intellectual property.

This Ethics Policy will be regularly reviewed and updated as appropriate.
